Taste a Wine with No Label Clues

The clues used to buy a wine include some of the following: have you had it before, the price, the grape variety, the country of origin … And the list continues. Remarkably in a retail store this is processed in a flash and we march to the register with the selection.

Benjamin has had a project with a difference underway for some time and the wine was released for a tasting weekend. But the label for Dark Matter offers no clues at all. Since a winery must state the alcohol, I can report this reads 15.8%. How do we make sense of this new release?

What is he up to? A customer just sent in a wine review which reads, good booze mate, and this may help.
